The Griffins started strong, with the first ten minutes looking promising as the team pressed to break the deadlock. However, a swift counter-attack saw us concede. Adjusting to the offside rule In there first game didn't prove to much of an issue for the girls, but the girls didn't stop going.

After halftime, the Griffins came out with renewed energy and quickly took the game to Boston. Anais's well-taken goal early in the half was a highlight, and the team continued to create many exciting chances in attack. Although the ball just didn’t seem to find the net, the Griffins showed fantastic spirit throughout. Against the run of play, the visitors managed a breakaway goal, followed by a couple more, but the Griffins girls never gave up and worked tirelessly until the final whistle.

Well done to all the players for their determination and teamwork. The experience will only make the team stronger for future matches. Thank you to the coaches and everyone who came along to cheer us on.
