Today we hosted Ropsley Colts in our third challenge cup tie and our second game against them, who were great opponents. Indeed the visitors got off to a strong start and after soaking up some early pressure we managed to turn the tide. The girls played some beautiful passing football which started at the back and continued all the way through the team. They looked dangerous every time they were on the attack. The opening goal came from a fantastic free kick from Emily H who also went on to score another. Emily F walked away with the match ball after netting three times, all really well taken goals. Lottie put in some quality corners setting Aurora up for one goal and scoring directly from another. Our Player and Parents player went to the Matilda who played out of her skin, owning the midfield and playing some crucial passes.
