The girls put in a fantastic performance yesterday, showing the aggression and fast start we’d talked about. It paid off early as Anaise put us ahead. Despite Barrowby's breakaway goals the team responded brilliantly. Anaise added her second to equalise and Isla scored to help us restore our lead.

Barrowby pulled one back, but our girls kept fighting and creating chances, and eliza scored the winner to seal a well-deserved victory

It was a brilliant display of attitude, desire, and teamwork especially considering Barrowby beat us by a big scoreline last season and have hardly dropped points this year. A couple of things to work on, like tracking back and choosing the right moments to shoot, but overall an excellent performance.
