Today Lincoln Griffins u10s played a very strong Lincoln United side. Whilst it was a tough game, there were many positives to be taken. Once we had got our heads into the game the girls were putting in challenges, throwing themselves infront of the ball to defend, and had some good passages of football. One thing that was clear again was how unified the team is, how much they enjoy playing football together, and how they will never give up and back down. Well done girls!

Well done to Ava, who was this weeks player of the match. Ava didn’t stop running, tackling, and getting herself in the way of shots and passes. Despite an injury in the first quarter she came back on in the second and played the rest of the game, not fearing the ball and putting in 100%.
